There is nothing like visiting a well established private garden to give you ideas for your own garden. If nothing else, such a garden visit gives you a feeling of wellbeing and relaxation - or at least should. Whilst there are many famous gardens open to the public in the UK, there are also hundreds of smaller gardens that may just open for a specific period of time - normally whilst their own particular favourites are in flower! Most gardens that are open to the public have good facilities by way of toilets, access and car parking. others do not, so it is as well to use the contact details on the website directory of gardens to make sure before you travel to the garden you choose. |
